Coach Roberts spent his youth playing club and high school soccer in Colorado Springs, Colorado for Flames Soccer Club and El Paso Pride FC. His junior and senior year in high school, Coach Roberts was a member of the Pikes Peak Stampede (PDL) gaining valuable playing experience at such a young age. He relocated to South Carolina to attend USC-Spartanburg and Lander University respectively for his collegiate playing career. Attending two upper echelon Division II NCAA programs further continued his high level of playing and learning. During his junior season, Coach Roberts was able to enjoy NCAA tournament memories as Lander University reach the Southeastern Regional Final creating experiences that will he will carry with him for life.

Continuous self education and improvement are extremely important to Coach Roberts as it only make those under his training umbrella that much better. The ability to personally relate and connect with each goalkeeper he trains is of high importance as it makes the coach to player relationship much more personal and valuable to the goalkeeper. Training holds a big emphasis on innovative and ever changing environments that continuously challenge, develop and motivate every goalkeeper. Coach Roberts is committed creating Alpha goalkeepers, but more importantly, great people.
